I am broadly interested in issues concerning equal opportunities and diversity in the workplace. More specifically, I conduct research on ethnic minorities and employment, exploring the disadvantages faced by ethnic minorities in gaining access to work and training, broadening my work to examine the effects of gender, ethnicity, disability and age on the work experiences of UK employees using large scale survey data.

Dr Erminia Colucci specializes in cultural and global mental health,particularly suicide prevention, domestic violence, and human rights abuses, among people from immigrant and refugee backgrounds and in low-middle income countries. She is also an ethnographic documentary film-makers with a passion for arts/visual research and dissemination methods. She is also interested in advocacy and lived-experiences of people with mental health issues and suicidal behaviour.
