Dr Pietro Panzarasa
My research is concerned with the field of complex networks, and focuses primarily on the structure and dynamics of social interaction. The general goal of my work is to better understand the antecedents, structure, functioning, and implications of complex large-scale networks. Recent work has examined the topological properties and growth mechanisms of weighted and dynamic networks in a variety of empirical domains, including scientific collaboration, online communication, technological and transportation systems.

My research interests centre on the politics of knowledge, representation and critique, and on the significance of dimensions of subjectivity and meaning for critical studies of management and organization. I also have a broad interest in contemporary debates in political and cultural theory, critical pedagogy, and the philosophy and methodology of the social sciences, with a specific interest in questions of critical and material practice and/or action perspectives.
