I am interested in accessing and theorising the consumer experience with particular regard to how consumption (of brands, experiences, media) inflects consumers' senses of identity and meaning. I am also very interested in taking a multi-disciplinary approach. I find interpretive data gathering methods most useful for this, and I frame my interpretation of this data with relevant socio-cultural theories. My approach to consumer research falls broadly within the area that has become known as Consumer Culture Theory (CCT) research.
